Coastlines (film)
''Coastlines'' is a 2002 dramatic film written and directed by Victor Nuñez. It is the third of three films by Nuñez set in the Florida Panhandle after ''Ruby in Paradise'' (1993) and ''Ulee's Gold'' (1997). The film made its debut at the 2002 Sundance Film Festival but was not released until 2006 as it could not find a distributor. Plot Sonny Mann (Timothy Olyphant) is released early from prison and returns home to the Florida Panhandle and tries to collect $200,000 owed to him by his former cohorts, Fred Vance (William Forsythe (actor), William Forsythe) and his nephew Eddie (Josh Lucas). He enters into a love triangle with best friend Dave Lockhart (Josh Brolin), a sheriff, and his wife, Ann Lockhart (Sarah Wynter). Cast References External links

Victor Nuñez
Victor Nunez (born 1945) is a film director, professor at the Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts, Florida State University College of Motion Picture, Television and Recording Arts, and a founding member of the Independent Feature Project. He is best known for directing ''Ulee's Gold'', a critically acclaimed movie starring Peter Fonda and Patricia Richardson. Nunez was inducted into the Florida Artists Hall of Fame in 2008 and Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2016. Education and early career Nunez grew up in Peru and Tallahassee, Florida. He received his undergraduate degree from Antioch College where he made his first fictional shorts, "Fairground" (1968) and "Taking Care of Mother Baldwin" (1970). Robert Martin (born December 8, 1962) is a television and musical theatre actor and writer from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Career Theatre Martin began his career as an actor and director at The Second City in Toronto in 1996. He served as Second City Toronto's artistic director from 2003–2004.
