''Coach'' is a 1978 American sport comedy film directed by Bud Townsend and starring Cathy Lee Crosby, Michael Biehn, Keenan Wynn, Channing Clarkson, Steve Nevil, and Jack David Walker. The film was released by Crown International Pictures in March 1978. Plot Randy Rowlings, an Olympic gold medalist, is hired by a high school as a male basketball team coach. She meets with a negative attitude of teenagers. She faces a difficult task to overcome the reluctance of players and lead a weak team to victory. Will Zens
Frederick Willard Zens (June 26, 1920 – March 27, 2013) was an American film producer, director, screenwriter and soundtrack composer who worked on mainly low budget films from the 1960s through the 1980s. Biography and filmography Following service as a test pilot in the U.S. Army Air Force in the European Theatre of Operations, the Milwaukee, Wisconsin-born Major Zens earned his master's degree in film from the University of Southern California (USC). He made his first film '' Capture That Capsule'' in 1961. Zens did not make another film until '' The Starfighters'' filmed at George Air Force Base that chronicled the F-104 aircraft with Bob Dornan in the lead role. Zens and Dornan next collaborated on a Vietnam war film ''To the Shores of Hell'' made the following year. Otto Felix
Otto Felix (December 31, 1942 – December 13, 2008) was a motion picture and television actor, acting teacher and still photographer. Raised in Pennsylvania, and a graduate of Fishburne Military School, Waynesboro, Virginia, then he served in the U.S. Army, and worked as a disc jockey in Florida, before beginning an acting career. Felix was cast in over 350 TV commercials after arriving in Hollywood in the early 1970s. He played the mellow cop in the Cheech and Chong feature motion picture '' Up in Smoke'' (1978). In his later life Otto Felix was an acting teacher based in Hollywood, California. He specialized in actors just getting a start in the fields of film and television, acting at his Film Actors Shop that also served as the office for his efforts on behalf of H.A.A.P.I. - Handicapped Artists, Performers & Partners, Inc. that he founded. Sidney Wicks (born September 19, 1949) is an American former professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association (NBA). A native of California, he played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins. Wicks was selected by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 1971 NBA draft with the second overall pick. He was named the NBA Rookie of the Year and was a four-time NBA All-Star with the Trail Blazers. He also played professionally for the Boston Celtics and San Diego Clippers, finishing his career after one season in Italy.
