China Network Television (CNTV; ) was a Chinese state-owned national web-based TV broadcaster of China Central Television that was launched on December 28, 2009. CNTV International offered 6 local language services (Chinese, Mongolian in Mongol script, Tibetan, Kazakh, Uyghur and Korean) and 6 foreign language services (English, French, Spanish, Russian, Korean and Arabic). They also provided viewers with a host of news and feature programs from China Central Television's foreign channels. The National Television Council ( es, Consejo Nacional de Televisión, italic=no or CNTV) is a Chilean government agency whose function is to oversee the operation of television services. It was first created by Law 17377 on October 24, 1970. Its existence is formalized in the Constitution of Chile, with its composition, organization, and powers defined in Law 18838 of 1989 and Law 19131 of 1992. Since 2001, it has participated in creating the contents of CNTV Infantil, an educational channel for cable television.
