Chantal Rousselot (1946) stage name Cléo is a French yéyé singer popular 1966–1970. She recorded six singles, two of them with Richard Fontaine as the duo Cédric et Cléo, inspired by Sonny and Cher. She married Herbert Léonard whom she met in 1967. Sonny And Cher
Sonny & Cher were an American pop and entertainment duo in the 1960s and 1970s, made up of husband and wife Sonny Bono and Cher. The couple started their career in the mid-1960s as R&B backing singers for record producer Phil Spector. The pair first achieved fame with two hit songs in 1965, "Baby Don't Go" and "I Got You Babe". Signing with Atco/Atlantic Records, they released three studio albums in the late 1960s, as well as the soundtrack recordings for two unsuccessful movies, ''Good Times'' and ''Chastity'', with Cher contributing vocals to one cut, "Chastity's Song (Band of Thieves)". Jacques Dutronc
Jacques Dutronc (born 28 April 1943) is a French singer, songwriter, guitarist, composer, and actor. He married singer Françoise Hardy on 30 March 1981 and together they have a son (manouche jazz) guitarist Thomas Dutronc, born 1973); they separated in 1988. He also has been a longtime songwriting collaborator with Jacques Lanzmann. Some of Dutronc's best-known hits include " Il est cinq heures, Paris s'éveille" (which All Music Guide has called "his finest hour"), "Le Responsable", and " Les Cactus". Dutronc played guitar in the rock group El Toro et les Cyclones. He wrote successful songs for Françoise Hardy in the 1960s before moving on to pursue a successful solo career. His music incorporated traditional French pop and French rock as well as styles such as psychedelic rock and garage rock. He was also very important in the Yéyé music movement. Nino Agostino Arturo Maria Ferrari (), known as Nino Ferrer (15 August 1934 – 13 August 1998), was an Italian-born French singer-songwriter and author. Biography and career Nino Ferrer was born on 15 August 1934 in Genoa, Italy, but lived the first years of his life in New Caledonia (an overseas territory of France in the southwest Pacific Ocean), where his father, an engineer, was working. Jesuit religious schooling, first in Genoa and later in Saint-Jean de Passy, Paris, left him with a lifelong aversion to the Church.
