Cláudio Ramos
Cláudio Pires Morais Ramos (born 16 November 1991) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for FC Porto as a goalkeeper. He spent most of his career with Tondela, making 267 total appearances over nine seasons. In 2020, he signed with Porto. Ramos won one cap for Portugal. Club career Tondela Born in Vila Nova de Paiva, Viseu District, Ramos played for Académico de Viseu F.C. in his hometown as a youth before moving to Vitória S.C. in 2007. He never played a senior game for the team from Guimarães and was loaned to Amarante F.C. and C.D. Tondela, who he joined permanently after winning promotion from the third division in the 2011–12 season. Liga Portuguesa De Futebol Profissional
The Liga Portugal (Portugal League), also known by its acronym LPFP, is a governing body that manages professional football club competitions in Portugal. It was founded in 1978 as Liga Portuguesa dos Clubes de Futebol Profissional and works as an autonomous organism under the authority of the Portuguese Football Federation. In 1991, it changed its name to Liga Portuguesa de Futebol Professional and in the year 2020, changed the name into the current one. Penalty Kick (association Football)
A penalty kick (commonly known as a penalty or a spot kick) is a method of restarting play in association football, in which a player is allowed to take a single shot at the goal while it is defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. It is awarded when an offence punishable by a direct free kick is committed by a player in their own penalty area. The shot is taken from the penalty mark, which is 11 m (12 yards) from the goal line and centred between the touch lines. Procedure The ball is placed on the penalty mark, regardless of where in the penalty area the foul occurred. The player taking the kick must be identified to the referee. The 2017–18 Primeira Liga (also known as Liga NOS for sponsorship reasons) was the 84th season of the Primeira Liga, the top professional league for Portuguese association football clubs. Benfica were the defending champions for a fourth consecutive time, but they did not retain the title. Porto became the new champions with two matches to spare, clinching their 28th league title. This was their first trophy in four years. The 2015–16 Primeira Liga (also known as Liga NOS for sponsorship reasons) was the 82nd season of the Primeira Liga, the top professional league for Portuguese association football clubs. The fixtures were determined by draw on 4 July 2015. The season began on 14 August 2015 and concluded on 15 May 2016. Benfica won their third consecutive and 35th overall title, after beating Nacional 4–1 in their last match. Matt Jones (footballer, Born 1986)
Matthew Robert Jones (born 11 May 1986) is an English former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He is the assistant coach of the Quinnipiac Bobcats. He spent his entire senior career in the United States and Portugal, where he made 145 appearances for Santa Clara, União da Madeira, Belenenses and Tondela in the latter's professional leagues. The Primeira Liga (; English: Premier League, also written as Liga Portugal 1), also known as Liga Portugal Bwin for sponsorship reasons, is the top level of the Portuguese football league system. Organised and supervised by the Liga Portugal, it is contested by 18 teams since the 2014–15 season, with the three lowest placed teams relegated to the Liga Portugal 2 and replaced by the top-three non-reserve teams from this division.
