Cluster University Of Jammu
The Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ), is a collegiate public state university, located in Jammu in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is a cluster of five colleges of the Jammu city. It was established in 2016 under ''The Srinagar and Jammu Cluster Universities Act, 2016'' together with Cluster University of Srinagar under the initiative of the centrally sponsored scheme, RUSA. Cluster University of Jammu along with Cluster University of Srinagar was inaugurated by Prakash Javadekar, then Minister of HRD, Government of India on 17 April 2017. University Profile The Cluster University of Jammu came into existence on 1 March 2017, with the appointment of the first Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Anju Bhasin. Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan
Rashtriya Uchchattar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) (Hindi for "National Higher Education Mission") is a holistic scheme of development for higher education in India initiated in 2013 by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The centrally sponsored scheme aims at providing strategic funding to higher educational institutions throughout the country. Funding is provided by the central ministry through the state governments and union territories (UT), which in coordination with the central Project Appraisal Board will monitor the academic, administrative and financial advancements taken under the scheme. Prakash Javadekar
Prakash Keshav Javadekar (born 30 January 1951) is an Indian politician. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and served as the Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change from 30 May 2019 till 7 July 2021. Javadekar was elected to the upper house Rajya Sabha as a Member of Parliament from Maharashtra in 2008, and re-elected from Madhya Pradesh in 2014. Following the victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the 2014 Indian General Election, he was appointed Minister State (Independent Charge) for Environment, Forests and Climate Change by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
