Club Sol de América is a Paraguayan sports club, mostly known for its football team. The club is located in Barrio Obrero, Paraguay, and it was founded in 1909. The stadium Sol de America uses for most of its first division games is located in the suburb city of Villa Elisa on the border of the capital city, Asunción. Sol de America have won the Paraguayan First Division title on two occasions, in 1986 and then again in 1991. They also have a strong basketball team and an athletics department. Nicolás Maná
Nicolás Andrés Maná (born 25 March 1994) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a right winger for Montevideo Wanderers. Career Boca Juniors were Maná's first senior club, he remained with them for three years but didn't make a first-team appearance; though was an unused substitute on two occasions during the 2012–13 Argentine Primera División season. Marcelo Alejandro Estigarribia Balmori (born 21 September 1987) is a Paraguayan footballer who plays as a left winger for Sol de América in the Primera División Paraguaya. Estigarribia has been known since youth as ''Chelo'', as a diminutive of his name Marcelo. He also has an Italian passport by way of his mother. Gabriel Nicolás Benegas (born 1 March 1996) is an Argentine professional footballer who currently plays for Defensores de Belgrano in the Primera Nacional. Enrique David Borja García (born 30 December 1945) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a forward. Borja is the sixth all-time leading scorer of the Mexico national team. Career He played club football for UNAM until his transfer to Club América in 1969.
