Club Siero
Club Siero is a Spanish football team based in Pola de Siero, in the autonomous community of Asturias. Founded in 1916, it plays in Tercera División – Group 2, holding home matches at ''Estadio El Bayu'', with a capacity of 5,000 seats. History Despite being football present in Siero since 1909, Club Siero was not founded until 16 March 1916 with the name of ''Siero Foot-Ball Club''. With the creation of the Spanish football league system the club started playing in Tercera División at ''Estadio Luis Miranda''. Siero played three editions Copa del Rey, playing against La Liga teams like CA Osasuna or Sporting de Gijón. The club also qualified several times to the promotion play-offs to Segunda División B, but did not promote until 2000. It only played in the third tier during the 2000–01 season, where it was relegated after finishing in the 17th place of the Group 1. History The stadium was built in 2006 after the demolition of Estadio Luis Miranda, the old stadium in the village, for building the A-64 highway. It was inaugurated on 31 October 2006 with a friendly football game between the Spain women's national team and a team composed by Spanish players. The stadium has only one stand with capacity for 4,500 spectators and it is currently used by all the teams of the four clubs located at Pola de Siero. 1985–86 Copa Del Rey
The 1985–86 Copa del Rey was the 84th staging of the Copa del Rey, the annual domestic cup competition in the Spanish football. The tournament was attended by 142 teams from the main categories of Spaniard football. The tournament began on 11 September 1985 and ended on 26 April 1986 with the final, held in Vicente Calderón Stadium in Madrid. Real Zaragoza won their third title and got reedit the title after 20 years. The final ended with a 1–0 victory over Barcelona with a solitary goal from Rubén Sosa. The defending champions, Atlético Madrid, were defeated 2–1 (on the aggregate score) by Barcelona in the quarter-finals. The 2016–17 Tercera División was the fourth tier in Spanish football. It began on 20 August 2016 and ended on 26 June 2017 with the promotion play-off finals.
