Club Deportivo y Mutual Leandro N. Alem is an Argentine football club, located in General Rodríguez, Buenos Aires Province. The team currently plays in Primera C, the fourth division of the Argentine football league system. The club was founded in 1925 by a group of dairy workers, and because of that, it was soon nicknamed ''El Lechero'' (''The Milkman'') although its denomination honoured Leandro Nicéforo Alem, an Argentine politician who was the founder and leader of the Unión Cívica Radical and also the uncle and political teacher of former President of Argentina Hipólito Yrigoyen. Leando N. Alem used wears a uniform that is very similar to Boca Juniors, Argentina's most popular football team. Primera C Metropolitana
The Primera C Metropolitana is one of the two professional leagues that form the fourth level of the Argentine football league system. Primera C Metropolitana is made up of 20 clubs mainly from the city of Buenos Aires and its metropolitan area (Greater Buenos Aires). The other league at level four is the Torneo Federal B, where teams from regional leagues take part. Format Primera C is currently organised into two league tournaments, the Apertura (opening) and the Clausura (closing). Each team plays every other team once in the Apertura, and then once again at the reverse venue in the Clausura. The winners of the two league titles are recognised as champions. Primera D
The Primera D is one of two leagues that form the fifth division of the Argentine football league system. Made up of 11 clubs from Buenos Aires Province, the league is the only one that remains amateur. The other league at level five is the Torneo Federal C, where teams from regional leagues take part. It was created in 1950 under the name "Tercera de Ascenso" ("third level of promotion"). The first champion was Liniers. In 1962 the tournament changed its name to "Primera de Aficionados", which lasted to 1974, when it was called "Primera D", which has remained to date. Juan Hipólito del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús Yrigoyen (; 12 July 1852 – 3 July 1933) was an Argentine politician of the Radical Civic Union and two-time President of Argentina, who served his first term from 1916 to 1922 and his second term from 1928 to 1930. He was the first president elected democratically by means of the secret and mandatory male suffrage established by the Sáenz Peña Law of 1912. The Radical Civic Union ( es, Unión Cívica Radical, UCR) is a centrist and social-liberal political party in Argentina. It has been ideologically heterogeneous, ranging from social liberalism to social democracy. The UCR is a member of the Socialist International.
