Chile
Chile, officially the Republic of Chile, is a country in the western part of South America. Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a team sport played between two teams of 11 players who primarily use their feet to propel the ball around a rectangular field called a pitch. The University of Santiago, Chile (Usach) ( es, Universidad de Santiago de Chile) is one of the oldest public universities in Chile. The institution was born as ''Escuela de Artes y Oficios'' (Spanish: ''School of Arts and Crafts'') in 1849 by Ignacy Domeyko, under the government of Manuel Bulnes. Trasandino de Los Andes are a Chilean Football club, their home town is Los Andes in the V Región of Valparaíso in Chile. They currently play in the Segunda División.
