Club de Rugby Santander, known for sponsorship reasons as Bathco Rugby Club or simply as Bathco, is a Spanish rugby team from the city of Santander, Spain, Santander, founded in 2007. The senior men's first team competes in the top tier of Spanish rugby, the División de Honor de Rugby, and plays their matches at the Ruth Beitia Municipal Sports Complex. History Since its formation, the club has focused its efforts on the promotion of sport and rugby in particular among the youngest members of society. It currently has more than 180 players, 17 coaches and plays in a total of 9 categories. The club signed a sponsorship agreement with bathroom supplier Bathco for the 2016–17_División_de_Honor_de_Rugby, 2016–17 season, the year in which the senior team achieved promotion to Division of Honor B from the AON Norte league. División De Honor De Rugby
The División de Honor de Rugby is Spain's top level professional men's rugby union competition. The División de Honor de Rugby Championship is organised by the Federación Española de Rugby (Spanish Rugby Federation) and currently consists of 12 teams. The last-placed team in the competition is relegated at the end of the season to the División de Honor B, Spain`s second level of men's rugby union. The team finishing 11th enters a relegation/promotion playoff with the runner-up from the Division de Honor B playoffs. Format The División de Honor season takes place between September and March, with every team playing each other home and away for a total of 22 matches. Independiente Rugby Club is a Spanish amateur rugby union club based in the Cantabrian city of Santander. The club was established in 1971 and competes in División de Honor; the top Spanish league competition for rugby union clubs. Independiente plays its home matches at the Mies de Cozada, a multi-use stadium in San Román de la Llanilla. The team traditionally plays in green and white colours. Rugby Viadana 1970 is an Italian rugby union club based in Viadana (province of Mantua, Lombardy). La Tablada Rugby Club is a rugby union and field hockey club based in the city of Córdoba, Argentina. Founded in 1943 as a social institution, La Tablada started its sports activities in the 1950s.
