Club Atlético Adelante Reconquista is an Argentine sports club from Reconquista, Santa Fe. Its Association football, football team currently plays in the Torneo Argentino B, the regionalised fourth division of the Argentine football league system. Adelante was founded in 1919 as a association football, football club, but the institution has expanded into several different sports, including basketball, tennis, rugby union, figure skating, tabletennis, paddle, volleyball, chess and martial arts. The club has many female teams and youth academies. Reconquista is a city in the north of the , from the provincial capital. It is the head town of the General Obligado Department, and it has 99,288 inhabitants according to the . The city lies on a branch of the Paraná River opposite the city of Goya, Corrientes. As of 2005, the construction of a road link between the two cities is under study; at present there is no way to cross the multiple minor branches, streams and wetlands except by boat.
