Club100
Club100 is a UK-based "hire kart" karting championship. Senior/Junior karts use identical BirelART chassis, Rotax Junior Max 2 stroke engines and Dunlop KE1 tyres, while the Cadet championship use a smaller BirelART chassis, a smaller Rotax Micro Max 2 stroke engine and Dunlop SL3 tyres, these are provided by the club to an equal standard, putting all competitors on a level playing field. History The first Club100 championship was held in 1993. Initially it was a 6-round sprint championship held at Buckmore Park and has since grown into a multi-event series held all over the country at some of the UK's top karting circuits. British Universities Karting Championship
The British Universities Karting Championship (BUKC) is an annual University-based kart racing competition in the United Kingdom. History The BUKC, originally called the Inter Universities Karting Championship (IUKC), was formed in 2001 by students Will Tew and Tom Batho from Imperial College London. Prior to 2001 the IUKC was organised by students from Cardiff University and then the University of Nottingham and ran using 4-stroke variety karts. This all changed for the 2001/02 season with the beginning of an association with Club100, who supply a fleet of arrive-and-drive two-stroke TKM karts. The IUKC 2001/02 became the first ever university karting championship to be run on 2-stroke machinery and was contested by 32 teams, over 4 rounds. It was won by Loughborough University. Buckmore Park Kart Circuit is an MSA approved outdoor kart racing circuit located just off junction 3 of the M2 in Chatham, Kent, England. Until his death on 10 March 2017, it was owned by John Surtees, the only person to have won world Grand Prix championships in both Formula One car racing and Grand Prix motorcycle racing. Situated in a woodland setting between the M2 and M20 motorways directly above High Speed 1, its proximity to London makes it Britain's busiest circuit. Rye House Kart Circuit
Rye House Kart Circuit is a kart circuit, in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, England, and is adjacent to the Rye House Stadium. The circuit is one of the oldest in the country, and has been used by drivers including Jenson Button, Anthony Davidson and Lewis Hamilton. Hoddesdon Kart Club The Hoddesdon Kart Club is an approved MSA club, which holds its events usually on the third Sunday of every month. Events are run year round, running from February to December. In September, the club run an event called the London Cup. This has been televised on Motors TV in previous years, except for 2010. James Winslow
James Winslow (born 16 April 1983) is a British professional car racing driver who races at Le Mans 24 Hours. A ten-time Motorsport champion member of the British Racing Drivers' Club, he competes in Europe, Australia & Asia in Le Mans LMP & GT cars. He represented Great Britain in A1 Grand Prix the World Cup of Motorsport. Damon Graham Devereux Hill, (born 17 September 1960) is a British former professional racing driver from England and the 1996 Formula One World Champion. He is the son of Graham Hill, and, along with Nico Rosberg, one of two sons of a Formula One World Champion to also win the title.
