''Closure'' is the ninth studio album by American metalcore band Attila. The album was released on July 23, 2021, a year after it was recorded. Rhythm guitarist Walter Adams and former Blind Witness Blind Witness is a Canadian deathcore band from Granby, Quebec. Formed in 2005, the group was signed to Mediaskare Records and released two full-length studio albums. The band broke up in 2012, but reformed in 2014. History Blind Witnes ... drummer Tommy Henderson joined the band for this album, the latter replacing Bryan McClure, who was fired from the band following several rape and sexual misconduct allegations. Attila will be touring in support of the album from August to October. Attila is an American metalcore band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 2005. They have released eight full-length albums. Though their original formation was in 2005, the band did not start touring full-time until around 2010. Their most successful album, '' About That Life'', was produced by Joey Sturgis, released on June 25, 2013, and debuted on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart at number 22. Attila has toured across the United States with bands such as Hed PE, Arsonists Get All the Girls, See You Next Tuesday, Insane Clown Posse, Emmure, Chelsea Grin, The Agonist, Oceano, Falling in Reverse, and Metro Station. Metalcore
Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. As with other styles blending metal and hardcore, such as crust punk and grindcore, metalcore is noted for its use of breakdowns, slow, intense passages conducive to moshing. Other defining instrumental qualities include heavy riffs and stop-start rhythm guitar playing, occasional blast beats, and double bass drumming. Blind Witness is a Canadian deathcore band from Granby, Quebec. Formed in 2005, the group was signed to Mediaskare Records and released two full-length studio albums. The band broke up in 2012, but reformed in 2014. History Blind Witness was founded in 2005, by vocalist Jonathan Cabana in Granby, Quebec along with friends guitarist Pier-Luc Desroches and drummer Kevin Desroches. They later added guitarist/vocalist Maxime Lacroix and bassist Miguel Lepage to the roster. In 2005, the band began performing in Montreal. In 2007, the band was signed by Victory/Torque Records. Then in 2008, the band released their first full-length album: ''Silences Are Words''. While writing their follow up album, the group signed to Mediaskare Records and entered the studio to record ''Nightmare on Providence Street''.
