Close To Me (G-Unit Song)
"Close to Me" has been confirmed as the third and final official single from G-Unit's second album, ''T·O·S (Terminate on Sight)''. Background Despite '' T.O.S.: Terminate on Sight'' doing decent sales G-Unit managed to release a third single. In an interview with G-Unit, Tony Yayo explained the track "Straight Outta Southside" is his favorite track off the album, with "T.O.S. (Terminate on Sight)" being Lloyd Banks' and "Close to Me" being 50 Cent's, hence "Close to Me" being the third single. Originally "Party Ain't Over" was going to be the fourth and final single, but due to the lack of support from Interscope, a fourth single was never made, which makes "Close To Me" the third and final single from the album. G-Unit
G-Unit (short for Guerilla Unit) was an American hip hop group formed by longtime friends and East Coast rappers 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, and Lloyd Banks. After amassing a string of self-released mixtapes in the early 2000s, the group released their debut album '' Beg for Mercy'' in 2003, which went on to ship over four million copies in the US and was certified quadruple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). During Tony Yayo's imprisonment in 2003, the group recruited Tennessee-based rapper Young Buck as a temporary replacement and later an official member. The Game was also made a member in late 2003 in an effort to promote him after he was signed to Aftermath/Interscope, but he was removed from the group after several months. In April 2008, Young Buck was ousted from the group due to his problematic behavior. In July 2008, the group released their second studio album, ''T·O·S (Terminate on Sight)'', featuring the original trio. In early 2014, Y ...

Piggy Bank (song)
"Piggy Bank" is the fifth track from 50 Cent's second album, ''The Massacre''. It was not released as a single, but charted at eighty-eight on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 due to controversy over its attack on long-time rival Ja Rule, as well as Jadakiss and Fat Joe, who had worked with Ja Rule on his song "New York". The song also takes lyrical swipes at rappers Shyne, Kelis, Sheek Louch, Cassidy, Lil' Kim (who featured 50 Cent on her song " Magic Stick") and Nas. He also mentions Tupac Shakur, Jay-Z, Mobb Deep and Michael Jackson in the song, but not negatively. Song background In 2004, Ja Rule released "New York", a song from his successful album, ''R.U.L.E.''. The song was very well received by hip hop fans and featured appearances from fellow New York rappers Fat Joe and Jadakiss. 50 Cent states that he mostly attacked Jadakiss and Fat Joe for their partnering with Ja Rule, who was, in essence, recording a 50 Cent diss song. According to 50 Cent, the two had allegedly been m ...

Songs Written By Tony Yayo
A song is a musical composition intended to be performed by the human voice. This is often done at distinct and fixed pitches (melodies) using patterns of sound and silence. Songs contain various forms, such as those including the repetition and variation of sections. Written words created specifically for music, or for which music is specifically created, are called lyrics. If a pre-existing poem is set to composed music in classical music it is an art song. Songs that are sung on repeated pitches without distinct contours and patterns that rise and fall are called chants. Songs composed in a simple style that are learned informally "by ear" are often referred to as folk songs. Songs that are composed for professional singers who sell their recordings or live shows to the mass market are called popular songs. These songs, which have broad appeal, are often composed by professional songwriters, composers, and lyricists. Art songs are composed by trained classical composers fo ...
