Clive Coleman
Clive Coleman (born October 1961) is an English barrister turned journalist, who, from 2010 to 2020, has been the BBC News Legal Correspondent. He is also a playwright, film and sitcom writer. Early Years Coleman grew up in North London attending Dame Alice Owen's School and then University College School. He studied English Literature at York University from 1981–84, before taking a Law conversion course and then the Bar Finals in 1985 to qualify as a barrister. Law Called to the bar in 1986, he practised from the chambers of Robin Stewart QC, He worked in criminal law (both for defence and Crown Prosecution Service), and civil law (insolvency, medical negligence and property). In 1990 he left full time practice and taught on the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law, becoming a Principal Lecturer. Dawn Roma French (born 11 October 1957) is a British actress, comedian, presenter and writer. Bridge Theatre
The Bridge Theatre is a commercial theatre near Tower Bridge in London that opened in October 2017. It was developed by Nick Starr and Nicholas Hytner as the home of the London Theatre Company, which they founded following their tenancy as executive director and artistic director, respectively, at the National Theatre. Format The theatre seats 900 and is a flexible space to accommodate each production. ''Young Marx'' is a play by Richard Bean and Clive Coleman about the early life of Karl Marx. It was the opening production at the Bridge Theatre in London (residency of the London Theatre Company), a new commercial theatre founded by previous National Theatre artistic director Nicholas Hytner and executive director Nick Starr. The production opened the theatre on Friday 27 October 2017, following previews from Wednesday 18 October, and ran until Sunday 31 December 2017. The production was also broadcast through National Theatre Live in December. It received its world premiere at the Royal National Theatre, London on 30 June 2014, before transferring to the West End's Theatre Royal Haymarket. Jonathan Kydd (born 7 July 1956) is a British actor, narrator, writer, and producer. His first acting role was in the 1962 British comedy film ''The Iron Maiden'', in which he appeared aged 6 with his father. His father is the actor Sam Kydd who was in over 290 films.
