Clifford Reed
Clifford Reed (born April 12, 1965) is an American college basketball coach who last served as the interim head coach at Maryland Eastern Shore. He is also the former head coach at Bethune–Cookman. Early life and education Born in Ormond Beach, Florida, Reed graduated from Seabreeze High School in Daytona Beach in 1983 and began his college basketball career at St. Johns Community College, where he played from 1983 to 1985. Reed transferred to Daytona Beach Community College to finish his associate degree. After graduation, Reed served in the United States Army before enrolling at Bethune–Cookman College in 1989 to continue his college basketball career. Reed graduated from Bethune–Cookman in 1991. Coaching career Reed's first coaching position was under Horace Broadnax at Bethune–Cookman in the 1991–92 season. Ormond Beach is a city in central Florida in Volusia County. The population was 43,080 at the 2020 census. Port Orange is a city in Volusia County, Florida. The city's population was estimated at 64,842 in 2019 by the U.S. Census Bureau. The city is part of the Deltona–Daytona Beach–Ormond Beach metropolitan area; the metropolitan area's population in 2010 was 590,289. Jason Crafton
Jason Crafton (born January 30, 1982) is an American basketball coach. He's the current head coach of the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks men's basketball. Playing career Crafton played college basketball at Nyack College, where he was named team captain his junior and senior seasons. Coaching career After graduation, Crafton joined Jay Wright's staff at Villanova as a video coordinator for two seasons until 2005, when he accepted an assistant coaching position at Navy where he'd serve under fellow former Villanova staffer Billy Lange as well as a season under Ed DeChellis. Bobby Collins (basketball)
Bobby Lee Collins (born October 30, 1965) is an American college basketball coach and the former head men's basketball coach at Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks men's basketball, Maryland Eastern Shore. Prior to Maryland Eastern Shore, Collins had been the head coach at Winston-Salem State University and Hampton University. Playing career Collins played collegiate basketball at Eastern Kentucky University from 1987 until 1991, earning All-Ohio Valley Conference Honorable Mention in his senior season. After earning his degree in business administration and management, he played one season overseas in Finland before returning to his alma mater to spend two years as an admissions counselor. In 1994, Collins took his first coaching job as an assistant to Jeff Capel II with the Old Dominion Monarchs.
