Cliff Davies (musician)
Cliff Davies ( – 13 April 2008) was a British drummer. Career If After receiving tuition from pipe band drummer Jock Cree, and playing local gigs in the Aldershot area, in the early 70s Davies went on to join the Roy Young Band and then the second incarnation of the jazz-rock band If from 1972 to 1975. He played on four albums by the band and contributed many of their songs. Ted Nugent Following If's break-up, Davies joined American hard rock guitarist Ted Nugent from 1975 to 1982 as drummer and co-producer of all Nugent's recordings over those years, in collaboration with Lew Futterman, who had also produced If. In 1975, Nugent dropped The Amboy Dukes name and the band became The Ted Nugent Band. The other members did not want to be considered a backing band and one of the conditions of Derek St. Holmes joining them was it would be treated like a collective band. They toured as The Ted Nugent Band and, in 1975, after Davies joined the band on drums, they went into ...

Geoffrey Charles Whitehorn (born 29 August 1951, London, England) is a guitarist and singer-songwriter, who has played as a member of If, Crawler and Procol Harum. History In August 1973, Whitehorn joined the pioneering British jazz-rock band, If, in what was their third and final line-up, appearing on their last two albums, '' Not Just Another Bunch of Pretty Faces'' (1974) and '' Tea Break Over, Back on Your 'Eads'' (1975). During that period, he recorded his first solo album, ''Whitehorn'' (1974, Stateside), featuring fellow If members Dick Morrissey and Cliff Davies. This was followed by two largely instrumental solo albums, ''Big in Gravesend'' and ''Geoff Who?'' which he also re-recorded and expanded as ''Geoff Who? 2002''. In 1976–1979, Whitehorn played in the band Crawler (formerly known as Back Street Crawler), replacing the band's founder Paul Kossoff after the latter's death. Geoff also played as lead guitarist with Chuck Farley besides Steve Simpson, Boz B ...

Intensities In 10 Cities
''Intensities in 10 Cities'' is the second live album by the American guitarist Ted Nugent, released in 1981 and consisting of ten songs recorded during the last ten dates of Nugent's 1980 tour. Nugent played two or three new songs every night on the tour and told audiences he was recording them for possible inclusion in a new live album featuring all previously unreleased songs. None of the songs had appeared on any previous Ted Nugent album. Nugent explained at the time that about twenty previously unreleased songs were played at the beginning of the tour, and at the end the best ten were recorded live rather than in the studio later, because they were well-honed from months of performances and had the extra spark of a live setting. It was Ted Nugent's final album for Epic Records and the last album to feature drummer Cliff Davies. Reception The album was ranked at number 9 on '' Guitar World''s list of the "Top 10 Live Albums". Australian band TISM parodied the title on th ...

Although the album reached the U.S. Top 20 and quickly went gold, it is Nugent's first solo album not to attain a platinum certification. The best known track remains the album opener "Paralyzed", which was performed live on a 1980 episode of the TV show '' Fridays'', and turned up again a year later on ''Great Gonzos! Weekend Warriors (album)
''Weekend Warriors'' is the fourth studio album by American hard rock musician Ted Nugent. It was released in September 1978 by Epic Records. Description ''Weekend Warriors'' was the first of three Ted Nugent studio albums to not feature Derek St. Holmes, following Holmes' departure in 1978. Instead, Charlie Huhn, the new vocalist and guitarist for Nugent, performed on this album and others until Holmes returned for '' Nugent'' in 1982. Founding bassist Rob Grange had left for good, citing the lack of credit for co-songwriting and suspicions about Nugent's creative accounting, which Grange alleged was building his hunting dynasty instead of paying the band. The front sleeve-art was by British artist Jeff Cummins and was originally commissioned by '' Oui'' magazine, to accompany an interview with Nugent. Nugent liked what he saw and the artwork was recommissioned by CBS, with additional work being carried out for use as the album sleeve. Track listing All songs composed by Te ...

Tea Break Over, Back On Your 'Eads
Tea is an aromatic beverage prepared by pouring hot or boiling water over cured or fresh leaves of ''Camellia sinensis'', an evergreen shrub native to East Asia which probably originated in the borderlands of southwestern China and northern Myanmar. Tea is also rarely made from the leaves of ''Camellia taliensis''. After plain water, tea is the most widely consumed drink in the world. There are many different types of tea; some have a cooling, slightly bitter, and astringent flavour, while others have vastly different profiles that include sweet, nutty, floral, or grassy notes. Tea has a stimulating effect in humans primarily due to its caffeine content. An early credible record of tea drinking dates to the third century AD, in a medical text written by Chinese physician Hua Tuo. It was popularised as a recreational drink during the Chinese Tang dynasty, and tea drinking subsequently spread to other East Asian countries. Portuguese priests and merchants introduced it to E ...
