Mina Hibdon
Mina Hibdon (June 18, 1926 – May 21, 2010) was the first woman elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives from District 44, as well as the district's first Republican Party (United States), Republican representative. Elected at the age of 47 in a special election in 1973, Hibdon served until 1976. A longtime humanitarian and active community volunteer, Hibdon volunteered for the Salvation Army for many years. Along with her husband James, Mina Hibdon died on May 21, 2010, in Norman, Oklahoma. Bradford Jay Raffensperger (born May 18, 1955) is an American politician, businessman, and civil engineer, serving as the Secretary of State of Georgia since 2019. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served in the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 50. Raffensperger rose to national prominence in the aftermath of the 2020 U.S. presidential election, in which incumbent President Donald Trump lost. Trump refused to accept defeat, made false claims of fraud, and launched an unsuccessful protracted campaign to overturn the election results.
