Clemens Wilmenrod
Clemens Wilmenrod (July 24, 1906 – April 12, 1967) was the first German television cook. His pseudonym was derived from the municipality Willmenrod in the Westerwald region, where he was born as Carl Clemens Hahn. Wilmenrod is considered the inventor of Toast Hawaii, "Arabian Horseman's Delight" (mincemeat with onions) and "stuffed strawberry" (strawberry stuffed with an almond). He is also credited with making Rumtopf popular in Southern and Western Germany, and with introducing turkey as a typical Christmas dinner. Wilmenrod was not a trained chef, but had studied as an actor and had an acting career before becoming the star of his television program. From February 20, 1953, to May 16, 1964, he starred in ''Bitte in zehn Minuten zu Tisch'' on WDR television, assisted by his wife Erika, and provided his audience with suggestions for creative cooking in 185 broadcasts. Domestic Turkey
The domestic turkey (Meleagris gallopavo domesticus) is a large fowl, one of the two species in the genus '' Meleagris'' and the same species as the wild turkey. Although turkey domestication was thought to have occurred in central Mesoamerica at least 2,000 years ago, recent research suggests a possible second domestication event in the area that is now the southwestern United States between 200 BC and AD 500. Jan Josef Liefers
Jan Josef Liefers (born 8 August 1964), is a German actor, producer, director and musician. Life Liefers was born in Dresden, the son of director Karlheinz Liefers and actress Brigitte Liefers-Wähner. After his apprenticeship he studied at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch in Berlin. From 1987 until 1990 he acted at the Deutsches Theater Berlin; after this he moved to the Thalia Theater in Hamburg. His first role in cinema was Alexander von Humboldt in the East German film '. Following that, Liefers appeared in some minor film roles; however, in 1996 he achieved his breakthrough with the Helmut Dietl film '. Stomach cancer, also known as gastric cancer, is a cancer that develops from the lining of the stomach. Most cases of stomach cancers are gastric carcinomas, which can be divided into a number of subtypes, including gastric adenocarcinomas. Lymphomas and mesenchymal tumors may also develop in the stomach. Early symptoms may include heartburn, upper abdominal pain, nausea, and loss of appetite. Mirko Szewczuk
Mirko Szewczuk, was born ''Volodymyr Szewczuk'' (born 20 September 1919 in Vienna; died 31 May 1957 in Hamburg, Germany) was a German cartoonist of Austrian-Ukrainian origin. Szewczuk was born in 1919 in Vienna, Austria. From 1926-1938, he attended the elementary school and the Realgymnasium in Vienna. In 1939, at the age of 20, he became a soldier and remained so until the end of the Second World War. In 1941, he received an education as a draughtsman at a press propaganda company of the Wehrmacht. He was employed in 1942 as a press cartoonist for the caricature agency ''Die Politische Zeichnung - Interpress'' Between 1946-49, he studied at the National Arts School of Hamburg and was a cartoonist for the weekly German newspaper "Die Zeit".
