Cleavon Frendo (born 1 July 1985 in Pietà, Malta) is a professional footballer who plays as a winger. Pietà, Malta
Pietà ( mt, Tal-Pietà) is a small town in the Central Region of Malta, located near the outskirts of the capital city Valletta. Pietà is the suburb next-closest to the capital after Floriana. Its name is derived from Italian and signifies "Mercy." Etymology The name of Pietà in Italian means Mercy. Description Malta's former national hospital, St. Luke's, is located in Tal-Pietà. Tal-Pietà is a coastal town, and an old boathouse of notable historic interest (now in use as a restaurant) is located on the waterfront. Gilbert Agius
Gilbert Agius (born 21 February 1974) is a former professional Maltese footballer, currently head coach of Malta national under-21 football team. Playing career Agius was the captain of his hometown club side Valletta F.C. and is one of the most well known and highly respected figures in Maltese football history. He is hailed as a hero by the Valletta F.C. fans, due to his loyalty to his hometown club, where he played since 1990, bar a short spell during the first half of the 2001–02 season which he spent on loan to then-Serie C1 club Pisa. His number 7 shirt is retired in respect of his loyalty and great service to the club. He is the most capped player and the all time goal scorer at Valletta F.C. Jamie Pace MacDonald (born 1 January 1977) is a retired professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Born in England, he represented the Malta national team at international level. Club career Pace joined Marsaxlokk in 2005 from Valletta, during his time in Malta he has also played for Sliema Wanderers and Pietà Hotspurs.
