Clear Tamei
''Clear Tamei'' is an extended play (EP) by producer Seamus Malliagh, known by his stage name Iglooghost, released on the Brainfeeder label on 8 August 2018. It is the first of two EPs released by Malliagh, the second being ''Steel Mogu''. The EP, especially the title track, notably contains lyrics rapped and chanted in an as-yet-unnamed constructed language developed by Malliagh, described by Jay Balfour writing for ''Pitchfork'' as "mumbled gibberish". Iglooghost
Seamus Rawles Malliagh, known by his recording alias Iglooghost, is an Irish-born English musician, producer and songwriter based in London. Career Malliagh released a cassette in 2014 titled ''Treetunnels'' on Error Broadcast. In 2015, he released his second EP titled ''Chinese Nü Yr'' on Brainfeeder. He also released in that same year a collaborative EP with Mr. Yote titled ''Milk Empire'' through Activia Benz. In March 2016, he released his third EP titled ''Little Grids'', again on Brainfeeder, and in September 2017 he released his album ''Neō Wax Bloom'', also on Brainfeeder. On February 4, 2021 Iglooghost announced the oncoming release of his fourth album, ''Lei Line Eon'', which was released on 2 April alongside the release of the album's lead single, "Sylph Fossil". Wonky (music)
Wonky (also known as purple sound or aquacrunk) is a subgenre of electronic music known primarily for its off-kilter or “unstable” beats, as well as its eclectic, colorful blend of genres including hip-hop, electro-funk, 8-bit music, 8-bit, jazz fusion, glitch music, glitch, and crunk. Artists associated with the style include Joker (musician), Joker, Rustie, Hudson Mohawke, Zomby, and Flying Lotus. Drill 'n' bass is a subgenre of drum and bass which developed in the mid-1990s as IDM artists began experimenting with elements of breakbeat, jungle, and drum and bass music. Artists utilized powerful audio software programs and deployed frenzied, irregular beats that often discouraged dancing. Brainfeeder is an independent record label based in Los Angeles, California, founded by Flying Lotus in 2008, focusing on electronic music and instrumental hip hop.
