Clean Your Clock
''Clean Your Clock'' is the thirteenth live album by the band Motörhead, released on 10 June 2016, approximately six months after the death of vocalist and bassist Lemmy. Lemmy dedicated the song "Doctor Rock" to Phil Taylor, Motörhead's drummer from 1976-1983 and from 1987-1992, who died a week before the live album was recorded. Recording The album was recorded during their European 40th Anniversary tour. It is compiled from two sold-out shows at the Zenith in Munich, Germany, on 20 and 21 November 2015 (both nights were filmed but only the first show was released). Unbeknownst to UDR Records at the time, these two shows would turn out to be the last Motörhead live shows that were recorded professionally. Motörhead
Motörhead () were an English rock band formed in London in 1975 by Lemmy (lead vocals, bass), Larry Wallis (guitar) and Lucas Fox (drums). Lemmy was also the primary songwriter and only constant member. The band are often considered a precursor to the new wave of British heavy metal, which re-energised heavy metal in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Though several guitarists and drummers have played in Motörhead, most of their best-selling albums and singles feature drummer Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor and guitarist "Fast" Eddie Clarke. Motörhead released 23 studio albums, 10 live recordings, 12 compilation albums and five EPs over a career spanning 40 years. Orgasmatron (album)
''Orgasmatron'' is the seventh studio album by British rock band Motörhead, released in July 1986 by GWR, their first with the label. It is the band's first album to feature two guitarists Phil "Wizzö" Campbell and Michael "Würzel" Burston, and also the only full Motörhead studio album to feature Pete Gill on the drums, although all three also played on the new tracks recorded for the compilation album '' No Remorse'', recorded and released in 1984. This is also the band's first album featuring a four-piece band lineup, instead of a usual trio. Mikkey Dee
Micael Kiriakos Delaoglou (born 31 October 1963), known professionally as Mikkey Dee, is a Swedish musician, best known as the last drummer for British heavy metal band Motörhead from 1992 until its dissolution in 2015. Dee also played temporarily in the German metal band Helloween in 2003. In September 2016, he became German rock band Scorpions new drummer as a permanent member. Dee is famous for lengthy drum solos, often lasting between five and fifteen minutes. Some notable examples include those that appear in ''Sacrifice'', ''In the Name of Tragedy'', and ''The One to Sing the Blues.'' In addition he also played with King Diamond from 1985–1989. Electric Guitar
An electric guitar is a guitar that requires external amplification in order to be heard at typical performance volumes, unlike a standard acoustic guitar (however combinations of the two - a semi-acoustic guitar and an electric acoustic guitar exist). Phil Campbell (musician)
Philip Anthony Campbell (born 7 May 1961) is a Welsh rock musician, best known as the lead guitarist in Motörhead from 1984 to 2015. The band disbanded upon the death of founder and frontman Lemmy. He currently tours with his own band Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, featuring his three sons: Todd, Dane and Tyla. Early life and career Campbell was born in Pontypridd, and started playing guitar when he was 10 years old, inspired and influenced by guitarists such as Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi, Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page, Jan Akkerman, Michael Schenker and Todd Rundgren. "Overkill" is a song by English rock band Motörhead. It was released in 7" and 12" vinyl pressings in 1979. It is backed with A-side and B-side, B-side "Too Late Too Late" which appears on the CD re-issues of the ''Overkill (Motörhead album), Overkill'' album. Early copies came with an "Overkill" badge. The single reached number 39 on the UK Singles Chart. On 9 March 1979, the band played this song on the BBC TV show ''Top of the Pops'' to support the release of the single. ''Inferno'' is the seventeenth studio album by British Rock music, rock band Motörhead, released on 22 June 2004. It was their eighth with the SPV GmbH, Steamhammer label, and second under Sanctuary Records and its subsidiary Metal-Is in North America and certain territories. Recording ''Inferno'' was Motörhead's first album with Cameron Webb producing. Webb told Joel McIver of ''Classic Rock Presents Motörhead'' in 2010 that he had wanted to make an album with the band for years and met them for dinner at the Sunset Marquis Hotel to discuss the possibility of working together: "I talked about how I wanted to make a really heavy record with them.
