Claudio Vekstein (born February 5, 1965 in Buenos Aires, Argentina ) is an architect from Argentina and has been running his own architecture practice, teaching and researching the relationship between the architecture discipline, the public work and the Public Interest. History Born in 1965 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he studied at the College of Architecture, Design and Urbanism, University of Buenos Aires, Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of Buenos Aires, later he became disciple of South American master architect Amancio Williams, and completed Master Studies at the Frankfurt Art Academy Städelschule in Germany under Profs. Enric Miralles and Peter Cook. Amancio Williams
Amancio Williams (February 19, 1913 –October 14, 1989) was an Argentine architect and among his country's leading exponents of modern architecture. Life and work Amancio Williams was born in Buenos Aires in 1913. His father, Alberto Williams, was a well-known composer of chamber music and the founder of the Buenos Aires Music Conservatory. He enrolled at the School of Engineering of the University of Buenos Aires, though an interest in aviation led him to leave school during his third year. This sabbatical ended in 1938, when he enrolled at the same university's School of Architecture. He graduated in 1941 and created a portfolio of numerous prospective designs, though he found buyers for only a few, and among these was a residence in Mar del Plata commissioned by his own father. Enric Miralles Moya (12 February 1955 – 3 July 2000) was a Spanish architect from Barcelona. He graduated from the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB) at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in 1978. After establishing his reputation with a number of collaborations with his first wife Carme Pinós, the couple separated in 1991. Miralles later married fellow architect Benedetta Tagliabue, and the two practiced together as EMBT Architects. Miralles' magnum opus and his largest project, the new Scottish Parliament Building, was unfinished at the time of his death. Peter Cook
Peter Edward Cook (17 November 1937 – 9 January 1995) was an English actor, comedian, satirist, playwright and screenwriter. He was the leading figure of the British satire boom of the 1960s, and he was associated with the anti-establishment comedic movement that emerged in the United Kingdom in the late 1950s. Born in Torquay, he was educated at the University of Cambridge. There he became involved with the Footlights Club, of which he later became president.
