Claudio Uberti
Claudio Uberti is a former Argentinian government official who attained political power through personal ties to the former President Néstor Kirchner, becoming head under Kirchner of the Órgano de Control de Concesiones Viales (OCCOVI), the federal agency that regulates highway concessions. During his tenure at OCCOVI, Uberti was also a key figure in the arrangement of trade deals between Argentinian and Venezuelan firms under the Néstor Kirchner and Hugo Chávez administrations. He was described at the time as a sort of “parallel” ambassador from Buenos Aires to Caracas, and was an intimate of both Kirchner and Chávez. Ricardo Raúl Jaime (born January 16, 1955, in Córdoba, Argentina) is an Argentine politician who was the longtime Secretary of Transportation under Presidents Néstor Kirchner and Cristina Fernández de Kirchner. Since he resigned that position in 2009, Jaime has been charged in dozens of criminal cases with such crimes as embezzlement, irregularities in awarding subsidies, abuse of authority, misappropriation of public funds, and conspiracy. In 2013, he received a suspended sentence of six months for concealment of evidence. Boudougate
Boudougate is a political scandal in Argentina involving Vice President Amado Boudou and the printing house Ciccone Calcográfica. The AFIP, the revenue service of Argentina, requested Ciccone's bankruptcy in July 2010; but the AFIP reversed itself on September 24, 2010, and rescinded the bankruptcy request. A shell corporation named "The Old Fund", represented by Alejandro Vandenbroele, gave 2.3 million pesos to Ciccone; Vandenbroele became president of the organization as a result. Boudou, who was Minister of Economy at the time, instructed the AFIP to give Ciccone an exceptional moratorium to refinance debts. Amado Boudou
Amado Boudou (; born 19 November 1962) is an Argentine economist and politician who served as the Vice President of Argentina from 2011 to 2015. He previously served as Ministry of Economy (Argentina), Minister of Economy from 2009 to 2011. In August 2018, following a Boudougate, lengthy investigation, he was convicted of corruption. The Maletinazo, Valijagate, or suitcase scandal was a 2007 scandal involving Venezuela and Argentina, souring friendship between the countries.
