Claudia Uhle
Claudia Uhle (born 15 March 1976) is a German singer, known for being a member of X-Perience. Early life Uhle was born in Johannisthal in East Berlin. She first learned the flute and the piano before practicing singing. She attended the Georg-Friedrich-Händel-Oberschule in Berlin, a special music school. During school she sang in various choirs, as a teenager she sang at the Berlin State Opera. Career In 1995, Uhle joined the pop-style group X-Perience, in which her brother Matthias was already evolving. The band found success in 1996 with the song A Neverending Dream. In 2007, Claudia left the band to better focus on her solo project, ''Angelzoom''. In 2020, Uhle got back together with X-Perience. X-Perience
X-Perience is a eurodance band from Berlin, Germany. Their music style varies between synthpop, trance and ethnopop. The band members are Claudia Uhle (vocals, lyrics), Matthias Uhle (composition, keyboards) and Alexander Kaiser (lyrics, keyboards). Singer Claudia Uhle, Matthias' sister, left the band in 2007 and was replaced by Manja Kaletka, but returned in 2019. History X-Perience was founded in 1995. Their first single CD was called "Circles of Love", released on their own label. Axel Henninger, who had worked with Camouflage before, produced the track. "Circles of Love" became a regional hit in Berlin, mainly through the radio station Fritz. This caught the attention of the major record label WEA, who offered the band a contract. Johannisthal (Berlin)
Johannisthal () is a German locality (''Ortsteil'') within the Berlin borough (''Bezirk'') of Treptow-Köpenick. Until 2001 it was part of the former borough of Treptow. History The first mention of the locality dates from November 16, 1753. In 1880 it was served by a train station on the '' Berlin-Görlitzer Eisenbahn'' and in 1884 it was awarded by the title of ''Bad'' ( bath), becoming ''Bad Johannisthal''. From 1905 to 1906 the town hall was built, and in 1920 the "Greater Berlin Act" merged the town into Berlin. As part of East Berlin bordering Neukölln (West Berlin), its limits were crossed by the Berlin Wall from 1961 to 1989. The (), also known as the Berlin State Opera (german: Staatsoper Berlin), is a listed building on Unter den Linden boulevard in the historic center of Berlin, Germany. The opera house was built by order of Prussian king Frederick the Great from 1741 to 1743 according to plans by Georg Wenzeslaus von Knobelsdorff in the Palladian style. Damaged during the Allied bombing in World War II, the former Royal Prussian Opera House was rebuilt from 1951 to 1955 as part of the Forum Fridericianum square. A Neverending Dream
"A Neverending Dream" is a 1996 song by German group X-Perience, released as the second single from their debut album, '' Magic Fields'' (1996). It charted in Germany, Hungary and Switzerland and was the band's biggest hit. The song entered the German Singles Chart at number 91, went to number four in October/November 1996, and spent over 18 weeks in the charts. Over 350,000 copies of the singles were sold in Germany and the single was eventually certified Gold. On the Eurochart Hot 100, "A Neverending Dream" peaked at number 29 in December 1996. A music video was also produced to promote the single. Joachim Witt
Joachim Witt (born 22 February 1949) is a German rock musician and actor. Biography Witt was the guitarist/singer in the 1970s krautrock band Duesenberg. He released three albums with them, ''Duesenberg'' (1977), ''Duesenberg 2'' (1978) and ''Strangers'' (1979), before embarking on a solo career as a singer and actor. Witt became a major star of the German pop scene during the 1980s with huge hits such as "Goldener Reiter". He was one of the biggest names of the "Neue Deutsche Welle" (New German Wave), of which performers like Nena and Falco were also a part. He made a big comeback at the end of the 1990s, when he scored a major hit with "Die Flut", a duet with Peter Heppner, the singer of popular German synthpop group Wolfsheim.
