Claud Mintz
Claud Mintz, known professionally as Claud, is an American bedroom pop singer-songwriter from the suburbs of Chicago. Claud is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns. They are known for some of their songs "Soft Spot" and "Wish You Were Gay". History Claud began releasing music under the pseudonym Toast, releasing an EP in 2018. In 2019, they dropped out of college at Syracuse University to pursue music full-time. Claud released an EP called ''Sideline Star'' on October 25, 2019. In 2020, Claud formed a new band with Clairo, Josh Mehling, and Noa Frances Getzug, called Shelly. The group released two songs on October 30, 2020, titled "Steeeam" and "Natural". That same year, Claud became the first artist to sign on with Phoebe Bridgers' record label Saddest Factory Records. Claud's debut album, ''Super Monster'', was released on February 12, 2021. Highland Park, Illinois
Highland Park is a suburban city located in the southeastern part of Lake County, Illinois, United States, about north of downtown Chicago. Per the 2020 census, the population was 30,176. Highland Park is one of several municipalities located on the North Shore of the Chicago metropolitan area. History A traveler in the area in 1833 described visiting a village of bark-covered structures where he ate roasted corn with a chief named Nic-sa-mah at a site likely located south of present-day Clavey Road and east of the Edens Expressway. In 1847, two German immigrants, John Hettinger and John Peterman founded a town along Lake Michigan, which they called St. John's. Soon, the town was abandoned, due to questions regarding ownership of the land. The Marías
The Marías are an American indie pop band from Los Angeles, California. They are known for performing songs in both English and Spanish, as well as infusing their music with elements like jazz percussion, guitar riffs, smoke-velvet vocals, and horn solos. María Zardoya is the lead vocalist with Josh Conway on drums. In concert they are joined by Jesse Perlman on guitar, Doron Zounes on bass, Edward James on keyboards, and Gabe Steiner on trumpet. Samuel Holden Jaffe, known professionally as Del Water Gap, is an American musician and record producer based in Brooklyn, New York. Career Jaffe is from Sharon, Connecticut. While at boarding school in Millbrook, New York, Jaffe first recorded as Del Water Gap. The name was inspired by the Delaware Water Gap. He later attended the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU to study music and sound production. Band membership changed often as Jaffe entered college. There, he connected with Maggie Rogers, who played in the first incarnation of Del Water Gap. She was in the band for six months. After two of the people he had started the project with dropped out, Jaffe took on Del Water Gap as a solo project. Del Water Gap's debut self-titled EP was released in 2012.
