''Classified'' is the self-titled and third major release studio album by Canadian rapper Classified released on January 22, 2013, on Universal Music Canada. This is his fourteenth studio album overall. The album had debuted at #1 on the Canadian Albums Chart, earning Classified his first number one album in the country. The first official single; "Inner Ninja" reached #5 on the Canadian Hot 100, making it Classified's first top-ten hit on the chart; the song has earned a 2013 Juno Award for "Rap Recording of the Year" and has been certified 4× Platinum in digital downloads by Music Canada, it Classified's second song to receive platinum status, the first being "Oh...Canada". The second official single off the album is "3 Foot Tall" which was also certified Platinum. The third single off the album is "Pay Day". Karl Amani Wailoo (born March 6, 1978), better known by his stage name Saukrates (; "Socrates"), is a Canadian rapper, singer, and record producer. He is the co-founder of Capitol Hill Music, and lead singer of the hip-hop/ R&B group Big Black Lincoln. He is also a member of Redman's Gilla House collective. Ralph Jordon Croucher (born November 14, 1978), better known by his stage name JRDN, is a Canadian R&B recording artist. Early life Ralph Jordon Croucher was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and moved to Toronto, Ontario at nine months old, where he was raised until the age of 10, when his family returned to Nova Scotia. While he was in Toronto, he lived in Jane and Finch, in the same building as King Lou of the Dream Warriors. The jazz rap pioneer introduced Croucher to hip hop culture at this time. Alphonzo Mizell
The Mizell Brothers were an American record producing team in the 1970s, consisting of Larry Mizell (born February 17, 1944) and Alphonso "Fonce" Mizell (January 15, 1943 – July 5, 2011). They worked together on a string of jazz or R&B albums. History Larry earned a degree in engineering and Fonce Mizell earned a degree in music from Howard University. While there they formed and performed in a jazz vocal quartet, the Vanlords. In the early 1970s, Larry and Fonce Mizell moved to California to start their own company, Sky High Productions.
