Clash Of The Titans (franchise)
''Clash of the Titans'' is a British–American fantasy action film franchise based on characters and myths of Ancient Greek mythology. The 1981 feature film '' Clash of the Titans'' was remade in 2010, spawning the 2012 sequel ''Wrath of the Titans''. Following an initial announcement, the subsequent sequel ''Revenge of the Titans'' went undeveloped. Films The series originates with '' Clash of the Titans'' in 1981. A concept for a sequel was proposed to MGM in 1984, but ''Force of the Trojans'' was never produced. Desmond Davis
Desmond Stanley Tracey Davis (24 May 1926 – 3 July 2021) was a British film and television director, best known for his 1981 version of '' Clash of the Titans''. Early life and career Desmond Davis joined the British Army film unit serving at the end of the Second World War at age 18. He travelled extensively and the footage of his work can be seen in the Imperial War Museum. After serving his apprenticeship as a clapper boy in the 1940s, working on classic movies such as '' The African Queen'', Davis worked his way up to first camera operator in low-budget British films of the 1950s. Andromeda (mythology)
In Greek mythology, Andromeda (; grc, Ἀνδρομέδα, Androméda or , ''Andromédē'') is the daughter of the king of Aethiopia, Cepheus (father of Andromeda), Cepheus, and his wife, Cassiopeia (mother of Andromeda), Cassiopeia. Aphrodite ( ; grc-gre, Ἀφροδίτη, Aphrodítē; , , ) is an ancient Greek goddess associated with love, lust, beauty, pleasure, passion, and procreation. She was syncretized with the Roman goddess . Francis Patrick Roach (19 May 1937 – 17 July 2004) was an English professional wrestler, martial artist and actor. Jack William Frederick Gwillim (15 December 1909 – 2 July 2001) was an English character actor.
