Clark William Goff (December 6, 1917 – February 3, 1998) was an American college and professional American football, football player who was a tackle (American and Canadian football), tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for a single season in 1940. Goff played college football for the University of Florida, and thereafter, he played professionally for the NFL's Pittsburgh Pirates (now known as the Pittsburgh Steelers). Tackle is a playing position in gridiron football. Historically, in the one-platoon system prevalent in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, a tackle played on both offense and Defensive tackle, defense.
