Bruce Claridge
Bruce Claridge (died April 17, 1999) was a Canadian football End (Canadian football), end who played six seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL) with the BC Lions, Calgary Stampeders, Toronto Argonauts and Edmonton Eskimos. He played college football at the University of Washington. He also played junior football for the Vancouver Blue Bombers. Bruce's brother, Pat Claridge, Pat, also played in the CFL. Shaaron Claridge
Shaaron Claridge (born Shaaron Lee Cooper; later Snead; October 1, 1938 – September 15, 2021) was an American second-shift radiotelephone operator or police radio dispatcher at the Van Nuys Division of the Los Angeles Police Department best known for her voice work on the ''Adam-12'' television series. Claridge was born in Los Angeles County, California. At the time of her appointment, women were primarily desired as police radio dispatchers because LAPD psychologists thought that women's voices would have a more soothing and calming effect over the airwaves. The idea was that, should an officer (male) have been pinned down by gunfire and/or wounded, yet was still within radio contact, hearing the female dispatcher's tone would help keep the officer from panicking until back-up arrived at the scene. Claridge Records
Claridge Records was an American independent record label, owned by Frank Slay. History Claridge Records was started in 1965 by Frank Slay and Dennis Ganim as a division of River Bottom Enterprises. At that time, it was based in New York. The Rockin' Ramrods were the first band that signed a recording contract with the new company in 1965. "Don't Fool with Fu Manchu" was issued in October, 1965, but was unsuccessful. Claridge Records released 19 singles but, due to lack of success, closed down in 1967. In 1974, the label was revived in Los Angeles. One of its signings, Sugarloaf, had a ''Billboard'' Hot 100 hit that peaked at number nine with "Don't Call Us, We'll Call You", in 1975. Other artists were Bo Kirkland and Ruth Davis. In 1976, the company changed its focus from rock to disco, this time releasing 37 singles, three albums, and a few 12" disco singles. This unique firearm features a telescopic bolt design encased in a tubular upper receiver with a forged steel frame, button rifled match barrels, and 16-round magazines standard. Travis Claridge (March 23, 1978 – February 28, 2006) was an American football offensive lineman in the National Football League (NFL). He played for the Atlanta Falcons between 2000 and 2003 and for the Carolina Panthers in 2004. Early life Travis Claridge was born in Detroit, Michigan and grew up in Almont, Michigan. His dad coached football at Almont H.S. When he was in the 4th grade he moved with his dad to California. Then as a 7th grader Travis and his dad moved to Vancouver, Washington. Stephen Edward Claridge (born 10 April 1966) is an English football pundit, coach and former professional player. He was a pundit for BBC Sport football shows including ''Football Focus'' and ''The Football League Show'', until 2014 when he became both manager and a director at newly formed Salisbury. Claridge's career was known for its longevity and diversity. Born in Portsmouth, he has spent a number of periods with teams from Hampshire and Dorset, having begun his career with non-league Fareham Town in 1983. She is the editor-in-chief of Germany's international broadcaster Deutsche Welle (DW) with around 3,000 employees and freelancers from 60 countries. Early life and career Manuela Kasper-Claridge studied Economics and Sociology at the Freie Universität Berlin and graduated in 1984. From 1985 to 1986 she completed an internship at West Berlin's public radio and television service SFB (today RBB). Later she trained TV news producers and directors. Between 1988 and 1992, she worked as a news producer for RIAS-TV, covering Germany's Reunification, Central and Eastern European affairs. She also reported from Washington, D.C.
