Clarence Styvar is an American politician and a Republican member of the Wyoming House of Representatives representing District 12 since January 8, 2019. Elections 2016 When incumbent Republican Representative Harlan Edmonds retired, Styvar announced his candidacy. Styvar was defeated by Lars Lone in the Republican primary. 2018 When incumbent Republican Representative Lars Lone retired, Styvar announced his candidacy. Styvar defeated Connie Czarnecki in the Republican primary with 56% of the vote. After the primary, Lone announced his resignation after moving outside the district, and Laramie County Commissioners appointed Styvar to the seat, having won the primary. He defeated Democratic candidate Ryan Lindsey with 55.9%% of the vote. Lars Lone
Lars Lone is an American politician and a Republican member of the Wyoming House of Representatives representing District 12 since August 30, 2016. Personal life 2020 On June 23, 2020, a dog, Remington, escaped from his enclosure. Daisy Parkins, one of the dog's owners, was searching for him as it was their young son's birthday and this dog was his favorite. The dog had wandered onto Lone's property and was standing outside Lone's goat pen barking at his dairy goats. Parkins was driving around the neighborhood and waved at Lone as he was arriving home. A short time later, Lone noticed the dog barking at his goats and shot and killed the dog. Afterward, he assembled a party of four other men and went to the Parkins' house to tell the owners that he had shot their dog for barking at his goats. Cheyenne ( or ) is the capital and most populous city of the U.S. state of Wyoming, as well as the county seat of Laramie County, with 65,132 residents, per the 2020 US Census. Wyoming House Of Representatives
The Wyoming House of Representatives is the lower house of the Wyoming State Legislature. There are 60 Representatives in the House, representing an equal number of single-member constituent districts across the state, each with a population of at least 9,000. The House convenes at the Wyoming State Capitol in Cheyenne. Members of the House serve two year terms without term limits. Harlan Edmonds is an American politician and a Republican member of the Wyoming House of Representatives representing District 12 from January 5, 2015, until his resignation on August 15, 2016. His wife, Amy Edmonds, was a member of the Wyoming House of Representatives for the 12th district from 2007 until 2013. Elections 2014 Edmonds was offered the Republican nomination after mounting a successful write-in campaign. He then defeated incumbent Democratic Representative Lee Filer 53% to 47%. 2016 Edmonds did not run for re-election. He resigned on August 15, 2016, after having moved out of the district.
