Clare Cryan (diver)
Clare Cryan (born 3 December 1993) is an Irish diver. She competed in the women's 1 metre springboard event at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships The 2019 World Aquatics Championships were the 18th FINA World Aquatics Championships, held in Gwangju, South Korea from 12 to 28 July 2019. The city had previously hosted the 2015 Summer Universiade aquatics events in the same venues.

2024 World Aquatics Championships
The 2024 World Aquatics Championships, the 21st edition of the World Aquatics Championships, will be held in Doha, Qatar, from 2 to 18 February 2024. Originally scheduled to be held in November 2023, the championships were postponed until February 2024 in response to the rescheduling of the 20th edition of the World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka, Japan, from 2021 to 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and then again to 14 to 30 July 2023 due to travel restrictions and safety measures in place in Japan. It is the first time the World Aquatics Championships will be staged in the Middle East. Doha staged the World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m) in 2014, and has also staged nine legs of the World Aquatics Swimming World Cup series between 2012 and 2021. Jake Passmore
Jake Passmore (born 12 June 2005) is an Irish diver. In 2022, he became the first diver representing Ireland to win a medal at a World Junior Diving Championships, winning the silver medal in the 1 metre springboard at the 2022 World Junior Diving Championships. He was also the first diver representing Ireland to win a medal at a European Junior Diving Championships, winning the bronze medal at the 2022 European Junior Diving Championships in the 1 metre springboard. In June 2024 Passmore Qualified for The Paris 2024 Olympics in the 3m Springboard Background Passmore was born 12 June 2005.
