Clara Joyeux
Clara Joyeux (born 10 January 1998) is a French international rugby union player. She competed at the 2019 Women's Rugby Super Series and at the 2020, 2021, and 2022 Women's Six Nations Championship's. She also competed at the 2021 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand. Career Joyeux studied at the Garenne college in Gramat; from 2008 to 2015, she played with the JS Gramat club, 4, Spotted by CA Brive, she competed with Les Vaseix agricultural high school in Limoges, which won the French high school championship. She then played with the Limoges, then was spotted by the national coaches during an internship at the National Rugby Center in May 2016. She was selected in 2017 for the under 20 France national team, for a World Cup training course. In 2017, she joined women's Blagnac rugby. In November 2018, she was one of the first 24 French rugby union players to sign a half-time federal contract. Her contract is extended for the 2019-2020 season. The 2019 Women's Rugby Super Series was the third series of the Women's Rugby Super Series, a women's international rugby union competition featuring the best-ranked sides. Unlike the previous editions of the Super Series in 2015 and 2016 which featured four teams, the 2019 edition featured five. 2020 Women's Six Nations Championship
The 2020 Women's Six Nations Championship was the 19th series of the Women's Six Nations Championship, an annual women's rugby union competition between six European rugby union national teams. Matches were originally scheduled for February and March 2020, on the same weekends as the men's tournament, if not always the same day. Seven matches in the tournament were postponed due to health and safety reasons. The match between Scotland and England was originally scheduled for Sunday 9 February but was postponed to the following day with no public admission due to Storm Ciara. The game between Ireland and Wales was played as planned on 9 February. The 2021 Women's Six Nations Championship was the 20th series of the Women's Six Nations Championship, an annual women's rugby union competition between England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. The 2021 tournament was given a change of format from its traditional eight week round-robin format to a four-week format consisting of two pools of three teams with a final, inspired by the format of the Autumn Nations Cup, which replaced the 2020 Autumn Internationals. The 2022 Women's Six Nations Championship, known as the TikTok Women's Six Nations for marketing purposes, was the 21st series of the Women's Six Nations Championship, an annual women's rugby union competition between England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. It was held from 26 March to 30 April 2022. England entered the tournament as defending champions, having won the abridged version of the competition held in 2021. The 2021 Rugby World Cup was the ninth staging of the women's Rugby World Cup, as organised by World Rugby. It was held from 8 October to 12 November 2022 in Auckland and Whangārei, New Zealand. It was originally scheduled to be held in 2021, but was postponed by one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the first women's Rugby World Cup to be hosted by New Zealand, and by a country in the Southern Hemisphere. New Zealand were also the defending champions.
