Civica Popolare
The Popular Civic List ( it, Civica Popolare, CP) was a centrist coalition of political parties in Italy. Its leader is Beatrice Lorenzin, minister of Health from 2013 to 2018 and member of Popular Alternative. History CP participated in the 2018 general election within the centre-left coalition centred on the Democratic Party (PD), along with Together (notably including the Italian Socialist Party) and the liberal More Europe. The CP coalition's symbol consisted in a stylised peony, Lorenzin's name and the logos of Italy of Values, the Centrists for Europe (CpE), the Union for Trentino, Italy is Popular and Popular Alternative (AP). The coalition also included Solidary Democracy, Popular Italy and the Christian Popular Union, although their logos did not appear in the coalition's symbol. Beatrice Lorenzin
Beatrice Lorenzin (born 14 October 1971) is an Italian politician belonging to the Democratic Party (Italy), Democratic Party, former leader of Popular Alternative, and former Italian Minister of Health, Minister of Health from 28 April 2013 to 1 June 2018, in the governments of Enrico Letta, Matteo Renzi and Paolo Gentiloni. In 2018 she became one of the longest-serving health minister in the history of the Italian Republic. Early life Beatrice Lorenzin was born in Rome on 14 October 1971. Solidary Democracy
Solidary Democracy ( it, Democrazia Solidale, DemoS) is a Christian-leftist political party in Italy. The party's early leader, Lorenzo Dellai has described it as a " Christian-social" party. DemoS is led by Paolo Ciani; several party members, including Ciani himself, hail from the Community of Sant'Egidio. DemoS maintains solid relations with the Democratic Party. Lorenzo Dellai (born 28 November 1959 in Trento) is an Italian politician deputy of the Chamber of Deputies, and former governor of the Autonomous Province of Trento and former President of the region of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol. Regionalism is a political ideology that seeks to increase the political power, influence, and/or self-determination of the people of one or more subnational regions.
