Civic Alliance (Bosnia And Herzegovina)
Civic Alliance (Građanski savez) is a centre-left political party in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was founded in 2016 by Reuf Bajrović. Surprisingly the party's mayoral candidate in Bihać municipality won the mayoral race in 2016. In 2018, the Civic Alliance entered a coalition with the Demokratska fronta for all parliamentary races and the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Reuf Bajrović (born 13 July 1977) is a Bosnian-American politician and policy analyst who is presently the Vice President of the US-Europe Alliance in Washington, DC, and a Fellow at Foreign Policy Research Institute. Bajrović was appointed as Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the first cabinet of Fadil Novalić in 2015. His tenure as the Minister was shaped by his decision to send Financial Police to all state-owned enterprises, especially those in the highly corrupt energy sector. Bajrović resigned his position after the Federation BiH Government blocked his attempts to disrupt the patronage system and appoint independent experts to key management positions in state-owned companies. Presidency Of Bosnia And Herzegovina
The presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina ( sh-Latn-Cyrl, Predsjedništvo Bosne i Hercegovine, separator=" / ", Предсједништво Босне и Херцеговине) is a three-member body which collectively serves as head of state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to Article V of the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the presidency comprises three members: one Bosniak, one Serb, and one Croat. The Bosniak and Croat members are elected from a joint constituency in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, whilst the Serb member is elected from voters in Republika Srpska. The three members elected at any one election serve a collective four-year term. Individuals are able to serve no more than two consecutive four-year terms, although there are no overall term limits. Željko Komšić (; born 20 January 1964) is a Bosnian politician and diplomat who is the 6th and current Croat member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is also its current chairman, since 2021. Previously, he was a member of the national House of Representatives from 2014 to 2018. Komšić already served as a member of the Presidency from 2006 until 2014, and was elected to the same office for a third term at the 2018 general election, thus becoming the second Presidency member overall, after Bosniak Alija Izetbegović, and the first, and so far only Croat member to serve more than two terms.
