City bus service number 6 ''Črnuče – Dolgi most'' is the most heavily used and frequent of Ljubljanski potniški promet, 32 bus lines in Ljubljana. Annually approximately 16,000,000 passengers are transported. It passes the North - South corridor of Ljubljana on the busiest roads connecting Črnuče, Ježica, Bežigrad, Bavarski dvor, Vič and Dolgi most. History In 1928 bus route ''Vič – Črnuče'' was opened. Before World War II it had been cancelled because of unreliability and competition with tramway. On 27 May 1931 a new tramway line section was opened, called the Vič line, with a turning point near the Vič church. After World War II the Vič was still connected to the center of town with a tramway and Bežigrad with Ježica. Since 6 October 1951 the trolleybus route ''Razstavišče (Vilharjeva road) – Ježica'' also connects to the town center. An articulated bus, also referred to as a banana bus, bendy bus, tandem bus, vestibule bus, wiggle wagon, stretch bus, or an accordion bus, (either a motor bus or trolleybus) is an articulated vehicle used in public transportation.
