City Football Academy (Montevideo)
City Football Academy, Montevideo, is the training and administrative headquarters of professional football club Montevideo City Torque. Announced in January 2020, it became the fourth City Football Academy complex constructed by City Football Group, owner of Montevideo City Torque, after the facilities constructed in Manchester, Melbourne and New York City, and closely follows the design of its three predecessors. The facility was officially opened on 16 March 2021, with Uruguayan President Luis Lacalle presiding over the inauguration ceremony. Features With Torque having relocated from the outskirts of Montevideo to the city centre in 2018, the club was left with no permanent stadium nor training ground or office space. The Etihad City Football Academy, Melbourne is the training and administrative headquarters of professional football club Melbourne City FC. The club has been based at two of these facilities, originally at in the northern Melbourne suburb of Bundoora, and later at the Casey Fields sports precinct in Cranbourne East. Bundoora site City Football Group announced the construction of the facility in mid-2014, shortly after acquiring Melbourne Heart and renaming the club as Melbourne City. The site was situated within the La Trobe University precinct. The City Football Academy, New York, currently known as the Etihad City Football Academy for sponsorship reasons, is the training ground of professional football club New York City FC, located in Orangeburg on the outskirts of New York City. It is the third 'City Football Academy' to be built by City Football Group, the others being located in Manchester and Melbourne. Luis Alberto Aparicio Alejandro Lacalle Pou (; ''Luis Lacalle'' locally or ; born 10 August 1973) is a Uruguayan politician and lawyer serving as President of Uruguay since 1 March 2020. Marinos Town
was a football (soccer) venue in Yokohama, Japan. The official name is " Yokohama F.Marinos MM21 Training Center". It was the head office and training facility of the Yokohama F.Marinos. It was located in the Minato Mirai 21 ( Nishi-ku) area of Yokohama. The closest station to Marinos Town was Shin-Takashima Station on the Minato Mirai Line. Before moving to Marinos Town, the Yokohama F.Marinos trained in Totsuka training center ( Totsuka-ku) and had their front office at Shin-Koyasu (Kanagawa-ku).
