Citizens For Foreign Aid Reform
Citizens for Foreign Aid Reform (C-FAR) is one of a number of groups run by neo-Nazi and white supremacist Paul Fromm. It was founded in 1976 by Fromm after he had left the white supremacist Western Guard organization. C-FAR became closely linked to Canadian Association for Free Expression (CAFE), another one of Fromm's groups, which he founded in 1981. The main issue on C-FAR's agenda has been the promotion of an ultra-right wing agenda that is opposed to foreign aid and immigration. In 1987, the ''Toronto Star'' newspaper described C-FAR as part of a "spider web" of ultra-right wing activists. Neo-Nazi
Neo-Nazism comprises the post–World War II militant, social, and political movements that seek to revive and reinstate Nazism, Nazi ideology. Paul Fromm (politician)
Frederick Paul Fromm (born January 3, 1949) is a Canadian former high school teacher, white supremacist, neo-Nazi, and perennial political candidate. Fromm is the international director of the white supremacist organization Council of Conservative Citizens and is the director of several far-right groups in Canada, most notably the Canadian Association for Free Expression, Citizens for Foreign Aid Reform and the Canada First Immigration Reform Committee. He has hosted a radio show on the '' Stormfront'' web site and has ties to former Ku Klux Klan members David Duke, Don Black, and Mark Martin, a white supremacist rally organizer in Covington, Ohio. Western Guard Party
The Western Guard Party, founded in 1972 as the Western Guard, was a white supremacist group based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It evolved out of the far-right anti-communist Edmund Burke Society that had been founded in 1967 by Don Andrews, Paul Fromm, Leigh Smith and Al Overfield. In 1971, the EBS had taken over Social Credit Party of Ontario. Fromm was elected as party president and EBS installed members to the party's executive. However, in 1972, the Social Credit Party of Canada declared Western Guard membership incompatible with Social Credit and expelled the group. Andrews became the dominant figure in the EBS, and relaunched it as the Western Guard, narrowing the group's focus to racism, antisemitism and white supremacy. Canadian Association For Free Expression
The Canadian Association for Free Expression (CAFE) is one of a number of groups run by neo-Nazi and white supremacist Paul Fromm. Established in 1981, CAFE states that it is committed to the promotion and defense of total freedom of speech, and publishes the ''Free Speech Monitor'' ten times a year. Although it began in Ontario, it has also been incorporated in Alberta. Opponents have accused CAFE of racism, arguing that it does not merely support the free speech rights of far right groups, but also promotes their views. CAFE has criticized what it considers injustices against white people in Canada, and has argued that Canadian laws do not robustly defend the free speech of whites, and are too weighted in favour of minorities.
