Citizens' Alliance (early 1900s) was the name for local anti-trade union groups which united in October 1903 under the banner of the Citizens Industrial Association of America. Citizens' Alliance
Citizens' Alliances were state and local anti-trade union organizations prominent in the United States of America during the first decade of the 20th century. The Citizen's Alliances were closely related to employers' associations but allowed participation of a broad range of sympathetic citizens in addition to those employers apt to be affected by strikes. Originating in the American state of Ohio as the "Modern Order of Bees," the Citizens' Alliance movement spread westwards, playing a particularly important role in labor relations in the states of Colorado and California. Citizens' Alliance groups often worked in tandem with smaller but better financed employers' organizations interested in establishing or maintaining open shop labor conditions, including the Mine Owners' Associations (MOA) or the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM). Al-Muwatin
Citizen Alliance ( ar, Al-Muwatin, ar, ائتلاف المواطن) was a political coalition in Iraq led by Ammar al-Hakim, President of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, from 2014 to 2017. Most of its MPs joined the National Wisdom Movement when this new party was launched in 2017 by Ammar al-Hakim. Citizens' Alliance (Trinidad And Tobago)
Citizens Alliance is a defunct political party in Trinidad and Tobago. Former finance minister Wendell Mottley was leader and businessman Peter George was deputy leader. In the 2002 general election, the party received 5,955 votes (1.0%) and captured no seats. Oregon Citizens Alliance
The Oregon Citizens Alliance (OCA) was a conservative Christian political activist organization, founded by Lon Mabon in the U.S. state of Oregon. It was founded in 1986 as a vehicle to challenge then–U.S. Senator Bob Packwood in the Republican primaries, and was involved in Oregon politics from the late 1980s into the 1990s. Legislative activism In 1988 the group sponsored Measure 8, an initiative that repealed Governor Neil Goldschmidt's executive order banning discrimination based on sexual orientation in the executive branch of state government. The measure not only repealed the executive order, but also put a statute on the books that prohibited any job protection for gay people in state government.
