Circuit Pau-Arnos
Circuit Européen Pau-Arnos is a club track in Arnos about to the west of the city Pau in southwestern France which is famous for its street circuit Circuit de Pau-Ville where the Pau Grand Prix is held. The speed track for automobile and motorcycles is up to long and was opened in 1986. The nearby kart track is up to long. The site hosts track days, test drives, minor competitions and a race driver school. On 19 August 2021, it was announced that the circuit to host races for WTCR and Pure ETCR. The WTCR became the first FIA series to visit the circuit. Lap records The unofficial lap record (1:10.87) was set by Giedo van der Garde with Dallara F305 in 2005 during Formula 3 testing prior to the Pau Grand Prix. Arnos
Arnos is a commune in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of south-western France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as ''Arnosiens'' or ''Arnosiennes''. Geography Arnos is located some 25 km north-west of Pau and 10 km east of Arthez-de-Béarn. Access to the commune is by road D276 from Castillon in the west passing through the commune and the village and continuing south-east then east to join the D945. There is a large Formula 3 racetrack in the south of the commune run by the Moto Club Pau-Arnos. The commune consists of farmland except for a few small patches of forest. The river Aubin, a tributary of the Luy de Béarn (Adour basin), flows through the commune. Electric Production Car Series
The Electric Production Car Series (previously known as the Electric GT Championship) is a proposed zero-emission international auto racing championship organized by Electric GT Holdings. The inaugural season was planned to take place in 2018, but was cancelled due to a lack of a lead investor. Format Each race weekend were to consist of a 20-minute practice session and a 30-minute qualifying session followed by two races, one day race and one dusk race, each lasting 60 kilometers. The organizer also intended to run an electric kart racing series to recruit drivers. Philipp Eng (born 28 February 1990 in Salzburg) is an Austrian professional racing driver, and BMW Motorsport works driver. Career Karting Eng started karting in 2003, by competing in KF2, Intercontinental A Junior karts, competing in the Andrea Margutti Trophy and the Italian Open Masters. Eng finished 18th in the Margutti Trophy, leading home Marco Wittmann, while he finished 30th in the Italian Open Masters. Eng continued at JICA level in 2004, finishing seventh in the Margutti Trophy, and 31st in the European Championship. One highlight however was that Eng won the Italian Open Masters, holding off Wittmann again by five points. A TCR Touring Car is a touring car specification, first introduced in 2014 and is now employed by a multitude of series worldwide. All TCR Touring Cars are front-wheel drive cars based on 4 or 5 door production vehicles, and are powered by 1.75 to 2.0 litre turbocharged engines.
