Éric Ciotti (, ; born 28 September 1965) is a French politician who has represented the 1st constituency of Alpes-Maritimes in the National Assembly since 2007 and is the president of The Republicans since 2022. Dumitru Ciotti (1882 or 26 October 1885 – 1974) was a Megleno-Romanian activist, editor and schoolteacher. Ciotti was born in the Megleno-Romanian village of Skra ( ruq, Liumnița in Megleno-Romanian), then in the Ottoman Empire and now in Greece. His date of birth was in either 1882 or 26 October 1885, sources vary on this. From his youth, Ciotti showed interest in the national cause of the Megleno-Romanians. In 1904, he graduated from the Commercial Lyceum of Thessaloniki, after which he was appointed teacher at the Romanian school in Skra. In 1908, during the Young Turk Revolution of the Ottoman Empire, Ciotti was one of the Megleno-Romanians who was on the side of the Young Turks. In 1915, Ciotti migrated to Bucharest, Romania, where he would live for a while. Luigi Ciotti OMRI (born in Pieve di Cadore (province of Belluno), September 10, 1945), is an Italian priest belonging to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Turin, deeply involved in the fight against illegality and organized crime such as the Mafia. Dragutin Ciotti (19 October 1905 – 17 March 1974) was a Croatian Gymnastics, gymnast. He competed in the Gymnastics at the 1928 Summer Olympics – Men's team, men's team and won the bronze medal at the 1928 Summer Olympics. Nicola Ciotti (born 5 October 1976 in Rimini) is an Italian high jumper. He is the twin brother of Giulio Ciotti. Biography He finished fifth at the 2005 World Championships and sixth at the 2006 European Championships. He also competed at the European Indoor Championships in 2002, 2005, 2007 and 2009, the World Championships in 2003, 2005 and 2007 as well as the 2004 Olympic Games and the 2006 World Indoor Championships without reaching the final. Biography He won the silver medal from the 2001 Mediterranean Games, finished seventh at the 2006 World Indoor Championships and tenth at the 2006 European Championships. Megleno-Romanians
The Megleno-Romanians, also known as Meglenites ( ruq, Miglinits), Moglenite Vlachs or simply Vlachs ( ruq, Vlaș), are a small Eastern Romance people, originally inhabiting seven villages in the Moglena region spanning the Pella and Kilkis regional units of Central Macedonia, Greece, and one village, Huma, across the border in North Macedonia. These people live in an area of approximately 300 km2 in size. Megleno-Romanian Language
Megleno-Romanian (known as by its speakers and Megleno-Romanian or Meglenitic and sometimes Moglenitic or Meglinitic by linguists) is a Balkan Romance language, similar to Aromanian or a dialect of the Romanian language.
