Arnoldo Foà
Arnoldo Foà (24 January 1916 – 11 January 2014) was an Italian actor, voice actor, theatre director, singer and writer. He appeared in more than 130 films between 1938 and 2014. Biography Foà was born in Ferrara, Italy, to a Jewish family, though Foà was an atheist in his adult life. Foà completed high school in Florence, where he moved with his family, and studied at the acting school of Rasi. He abandoned his studies in economics and at age 20 moved to Rome, where he attended the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. He was initiated to the Italian Scottish Rite Freemasonry in 1947 at the Lodge " Alpi Giulie" n.150 (in Rome), taking later the highest degree. Foà died on 11 January 2014 from respiratory failure, just 13 days short of his 98th birthday. Giulio Calì (26 March 1895 – 20 January 1967) was an Italian film actor. He appeared in more than 60 films between 1927 and 1966. Life and career Born in Rome, Calì started his career on stage, being mainly active in Roman dialect theater and in avanspettacolo. He made his film debut in 1927, in Umberto Paradisi's ''Un balilla del '48'', but his career ultimately started after the Second World War, when he was cast in a good number of films of different genres and quality, even if usually playing very minor roles. Alberto Talegalli (2 October 1913 – 10 July 1961) was an Italian film actor. He appeared in 37 films between 1952 and 1961. He was born in Pincano (Spoleto), Italy and died in Gualdo Tadino, in the province of Perugia, Italy. Life and career After graduating from the liceo scientifico Talegalli became a bank clerk and a journalist for RAI television. After moving to Rome to pursue his passion for acting, he got the success thanks to Sor Clemente, a macchietta he created and successfully performed on stage, television, radio and in two comedy films by Camillo Mastrocinque. Raimondo Vianello (7 May 1922 – 15 April 2010) was an Italian film actor, comedian, and television host. He was a well-known Italian television personality. Biography He was born in Rome, but spent his youth in Pula, where his father, an Admiral of the Regia Marina, directed the local naval academy. During World War II he joined the Italian Social Republic, the fascist puppet state established in northern Italy after the Allied invasion of Italy. He was captured by American troops. In 1958 he met actress Sandra Mondaini, whom he married four years later, and with whom he frequently appeared in TV shows during his whole career.
