Cinema City (film Festival)
Cinema City is an international film festival held annually in Novi Sad, Serbia. During the eight days of the Festival, Novi Sad becomes a festival city, with abundant film, music, and academic programmes. The programme concept of the Festival consists of three segments – Cinema City Films, PRO, and Music, all of which are carried out across 10 city locations. Programme The festival includes film, music, and academic programming, which take place at more than 10 locations in Novi Sad. Cinema City Films is the main part of the festival, screening over 100 independent films every year. This programme is particularly focused on young film authors from the country, the region and the world. Ibis
The ibises () (collective plural ibis; classical plurals ibides and ibes) are a group of long-legged wading birds in the family Threskiornithidae, that inhabit wetlands, forests and plains. "Ibis" derives from the Latin and Ancient Greek word for this group of birds. It also occurs in the scientific name of the cattle egret (''Bubulcus ibis'') mistakenly identified in 1757 as being the sacred ibis. Description Ibises all have long, downcurved bills, and usually feed as a group, probing mud for food items, usually crustaceans. They are monogamous and highly territorial while nesting and feeding. Most nest in trees, often with spoonbills or herons. Béla Tarr
Béla Tarr (born 21 July 1955) is a Hungarian filmmaker. Debuting with the film '' Family Nest'' (1977), Tarr began his directorial career with a brief period of what he refers to as "social cinema", aimed at telling everyday stories about ordinary people, often in the style of cinema vérité. Over the next decade, he changed the cinematic style and thematic elements of his films. Tarr has been interpreted as having a pessimistic view of humanity; the characters in his works are often cynical, and have tumultuous relationships with one another in ways critics have found to be darkly comic. Bata Živojinović
Velimir "Bata" Živojinović ( sr-Cyrl, Велимир "Бата" Живојиновић; 5 June 1933 – 22 May 2016) was a Yugoslav and Serbian actor and politician. He appeared in more than 340 films and TV series, and is regarded as one of the best actors in former Yugoslavia. Early life Živojinović (nicknamed ''Bata'') was born in the village of Koraćica under the Kosmaj mountain near Mladenovac, at the time Kingdom of Yugoslavia (now Serbia). His father, Dragoljub, was an official and his mother Tiosava was a housewife. He had two sisters, Stanka and Nada, and grew up in a patriarchal household. Nikola Pešić
Nikola Pešić was born in Belgrade in 1973. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade with the degree of painting, although he completed his master's degree in sculpture in class of Professor Mrđan Bajić in 1998. In 1999 he got the scholarship from German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) when he went to Stuttgart, where he finished his post-graduate studies at the State Academy of Fine Arts ( germ:''Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Kuenste'') in the class of Professor Micha Ullman. Nicholas Edward Powell (born 23 March 1994) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder or as a striker for EFL Championship club Stoke City. Dorota Kędzierzawska (; born 1 June 1957) is a Polish director of feature and documentary films. Kędzierzawska was born in Łódź. She graduated from the National Film School in Łódź in 1981 but prior to that had completed a course in cultural studies at the University of Łódź and studied film directing in Moscow for two years. Kędzierzawska is the director of several acclaimed films, such as ''Crows'', ''Nothing'', ''I Am'', and ''Devils, Devils''.
