Cindy Haug
Cindy Kristin Haug (26 August 1956 – 23 August 2018) was a Norwegian experimental writer and children's writer. She was born in Hamar and was educated at Oslo National Academy of the Arts (''Statens kunst- og håndverksskole''). She wrote in many different genres and experimented through writing with a mix of styles. She made her literary debut in 1982. Among her books are from 1983, from 1993, from 1994, and from 1997. Hamar Cathedral
Hamar Cathedral ( no, Hamar domkirke) is the episcopal seat of the Diocese of Hamar within the Church of Norway. The cathedral is located in the town of Hamar which is in Hamar Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is one of the churches for the Hamar parish which is part of the Hamar domprosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Hamar. The whitewashed brick church was built in a long church design in 1866 using plans drawn up by the architect Heinrich Ernst Schirmer. The church seats about 380 people. History For several centuries, the Catholic Church ran the Old Hamar Cathedral in the town of Hamar. This cathedral was constructed from 1152 to 1200 and it served as the seat of the old Roman Catholic Diocese of Hamar until the Protestant Reformation. Merethe Lindstrøm
Merethe Lindstrøm (born 26 May 1963) is a Norwegian writer. Lindstrøm made her literary debut in 1983 with a collection of short stories. Her first novel, ''The Realm of the Rain Children'', was published in 1992. Her 1996 novel ''The Stone Collectors'' won awards uch as?/sup>. The 2007 collection of short stories, ''The Guests'', was nominated for the Nordic Council's Literary Prize and the Norwegian Critics' Award. Her next book, '' Days in the History of Silence'' (2011), won both of these aforementioned awards. Lindstrøm examines the conditions, doubts, and also the silence that exists between people who are close to each other.
