Corryville is a neighborhood in Cincinnati, Ohio, east of the University of Cincinnati, southeast of Clifton, south and west of Avondale, northwest of Walnut Hills, and north of Mount Auburn. Hyde Park is an affluent neighborhood on the east side of Cincinnati, Ohio. The population was 14,193 at the 2020 United States Census, 2020 census. It is located on the eastern side of Cincinnati, approximately six miles away from Downtown Cincinnati. Much of the neighborhood is situated between Interstate 71 and the Ohio River. At the center is Hyde Park Square, which is within a 2-block area of Erie Avenue primarily bounded by Edwards Road on the West and Michigan Avenue on the East. The square features a park in the center surrounded by retail shops and restaurants. Its centerpiece is the Kilgour Fountain, which features a draped female figure with fluted basins. Oakley is a neighborhood in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, that borders Pleasant Ridge, Madisonville, and Hyde Park. Oakley's business district, called Oakley Square, lies along Madison Road. West End is a neighborhood in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, located northwest of downtown, east of Queensgate, west of Over-the-Rhine, and southeast of Fairview. The population was 6,824 at the 2020 Census. History The historic West End was largely razed in the 1950s and 60s which lead to a very large drop in population from 68,000 in 1950 to 18,000 in 1970. This razing was done as part of a series of urban renewal projects and the construction of Interstate 75. The largest of these urban renewal projects was the Kenyon-Barr Renewal Plan.
