Ciebłowice Duże – village in the administrative district of Gmina Tomaszów Mazowiecki, within Tomaszów Mazowiecki County, Tomaszów County, Województwo łódzkie, Lodz Voivodeship. It is located on the southern edge of the Spalski Park Krajobrazowy, Spała Landscape Park. History * The first historical reference dates from 1389. The village belonged to the bishops of Kujawy who resided in Wolbórz, Wolborzu. It was settled by settlers from the Sieradz land. * In 1534, there were 18.5 meadows used by 19 serfs, 1 farmer and mill. * In 1859 r. the Unewel municipality was created, which included Ciebłowice. * In November 1941, a labor camp of the Construction Service (Baudienst) was created here. There were about 400 forced laborers in it. "Junacy" worked on the construction of the Tomaszów Mazowiecki – Radom railway route. The camp was liquidated on the night of October 16, 1943 by the partisan detachment of Lieutenant Witold Kucharski "Wichra". Forced workers were free ...

A voivodeship (; pl, województwo ; plural: ) is the highest-level administrative division of Poland, corresponding to a province in many other countries. The term has been in use since the 14th century and is commonly translated into English as "province". The Polish local government reforms adopted in 1998, which went into effect on 1 January 1999, created sixteen new voivodeships. These replaced the 49 former voivodeships that had existed from 1 July 1975, and bear a greater resemblance (in territory, but not in name) to the voivodeships that existed between 1950 and 1975. Today's voivodeships are mostly named after historical and geographical regions, while those prior to 1998 generally took their names from the cities on which they were centered.
