Cidade (radio Station)
Cidade FM is a Portuguese radio station that focuses on international and national hits. Cidade targets the younger audience, 15-24. Cidade is operated by the Portuguese radio division of German media giant Bauer Media Group, sister stations include: Rádio Comercial, Rádio Clube Português, Mix FM, Best Rock FM, Romântica FM, and M80. It was launched as pirate radio station, Radio Cidade, on 1 April 1986 in Amadora by Brazilian immigrants Rui Duarte, Rui Duarte Júnior and Edson Yazejy before it was suspended on 24 December 1988 due to not having a legal licence. It became legal on 22 May 1989. The station peaked its listenership in the mid-1990s when it became the second most listened radio station in Portugal, and soon expanded to several stations in Greater Lisbon, Greater Porto, Coimbra, Vale de Cambra , Santarém, Alentejo and Algarve, forming the Rede Cidade group. Montijo, Portugal
Montijo () is a municipality in Setúbal District in Portugal. Its name was Aldeia Galega do Ribatejo or simply Aldeia Galega until 1930. The population in 2021 was 55,732, in an area of 348.62 km2. The town of Montijo proper had a population of 25,719 in 2001. It is one of the few municipalities in Portugal without territorial continuity; that is, its component parts are not conjoined. Redondo Municipality
Redondo () is a municipality in the District of Évora in Portugal. The population in 2016 was 6, 567, in an area of 369.51 km2. History The area of Redondo municipality contains an important megalithic cluster, including the Anta da Vidigueira, Anta da Candeeira and Anta de Colmeeiro dolmens, or neolithic burial chambers. In 1250, a foral (''charter'') attributed to King D. Afonso III was issued to Redondo. At the same time, the king ordered the construction of a castle over the ruins of the ancient Roman fortress. Later, the town was ruled by the Count of Redondo starting in the 1500s. Amadora
Amadora () is a municipality and urbanized city in the northwest of the Lisbon metropolitan area and 10 km from central Lisbon.
