Chukkan
''Chukkan'' is a 1994 Indian Malayalam-language film, directed and produced by Thampi Kannanthanam. The film stars Suresh Gopi, Gautami, Thilakan and Kaviyoor Ponnamma in the lead roles. The film has musical score by S. P. Venkatesh. Synopsis Gaurishankar is an unemployed youth, who gets spirited by environmental issues a factory causes. However, those who supported him for the cause had ulterior motives. His father Shnkaran Nair is the sole breadwinner of the family and he works with the factory, and Gauri's actions costs him dearly. Thampi Kannanthanam (11 December 1953 – 2 October 2018) was an Indian film director, screenwriter, producer and actor, who worked in Malayalam cinema. He has directed 16 films. Personal life Thampi was born on 11 December 1953 as the sixth son of Baby Kannanthanam and Thankamma at Kanjirappally, Kottayam district, Kottayam. Jose Pellissery (1950 – 5 December 2004) was an Indian film and theatre actor. Biography As an actor in Malayalam cinema, he played supporting roles in about 100 films. His 15-year film career included roles in such movies as ''Aadhaaram'', ''Akashadoothu'', ''Naadody'', and ''Ghazal''. Pellissery was a partner of the theatre company Chalakudy Sarathy Theatres. Bobby Kottarakkara (11 March 1952 – 3 December 2000) was an Indian actor who acted in Malayalam films. He was born to Pareedkunju Ravuthar in Kottarakkara. He began his acting career on stage. He made his film debut with Mucheettukalikkaarante Makal. Bobby soon became a well-known actor. He performed in around 300 roles in a variety of films, some of which are such as Mazhavilkavadi, ''Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu'', ''Golanthara Vartha'', ''Kaazhchakkappuram'' and ''Chithram''.
