Chuck Adamson
Charles Fredrick Adamson (June 11, 1936 – February 22, 2008) was an American police officer who served with the Chicago Police Department as a Sergeant Detective from 1958 to 1974. He later became a television producer and screenwriter. Adamson was best known for creating the television crime drama '' Crime Story'', for which he won a People's Choice Award, and for writing episodes of ''Miami Vice''. The 1995 film ''Heat'', starring Robert De Niro and Al Pacino and directed by Michael Mann Michael Kenneth Mann (born February 5, 1943) is an American director, screenwriter, and producer of film and television who is best known for his distinctive style of crime drama. Alfredo James Pacino (; ; born April 25, 1940) is an American actor. ''Quiz Show'' is a 1994 American historical mystery-drama film directed and produced by Robert Redford. Dramatizing the '' Twenty-One'' quiz show scandals of the 1950s, the screenplay by Paul Attanasio adapts the memoirs of Richard N. Goodwin, a U.S. Congressional lawyer who investigated the accusations of game-fixing by show producers.
